The safari takes you through some of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations, including Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti ecosystem, and the Ngorongoro Crater area. From vast savannahs to dramatic volcanic landscapes, this journey offers rich wildlife encounters and stunning scenery throughout.
Detailed Itinirary
After a morning pickup from Arusha, you will drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. The day is spent on a game drive exploring the park, which is renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and predators. In the late afternoon, you will continue to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Following breakfast, you will depart towards Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge or tented camp inside or near the park.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti, taking advantage of the early hours when wildlife is most active. Later in the day, you will drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views along the way. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge or camp near the crater rim or in the surrounding area.
After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and flamingos around the soda lake. After the game drive and lunch, you will drive back to Arusha, concluding your safari.
